“Who will be responsible for telling the stories of the children of Jabalya, Khan Yunis, Deir al-Balah, and Rafah? Who will document the books and libraries destroyed in the bombings? Who will remember the names of entire families that were wiped out completely?” – Sheren Falah Saab: Haaretz

We Can No Longer Save the Tens of Thousands of Children We Have Lost. They Have Been Burned, Dismembered, Amputated, and Blown to Pieces. But We Can Bring Relief to the Thousands of Orphan Children, the Wounded, the Sick, the Homeless, and the Starving.

This is a long-term project designed to bring support and financial relief to suffering Palestinians in Gaza. It is also intended to contribute to Palestinian self-determination in Gaza and the West Bank.

Together, we can take a stand against the ongoing suffering

GENOCIDE IS A MONUMENTAL CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY. WE NEED EVEN MORE MOMENTOUS SOLUTIONS. JOIN THIS GLOBAL PROJECT TO AID GAZA AND FREE PALESTINE ONCE AND FOR ALL.

The genocide in Gaza is unprecedented. We are all watching it live as if it were an everyday occurrence. We should not accept this horrific man-made catastrophe. It should shock the conscience of everybody in a civilized society. The level of killing, atrocity, and destruction that has been perpetuated in Gaza requires us to take equally Herculean actions.

To date, Israel and the United States, with the complicity of European countries and others and the silence and inaction of Arab regimes, continue to kill hundreds of women and children in Gaza daily. Dozens of Palestinians are killed and burned alive in what Israel calls “safe zones,” and it has forced Palestinians to live in flimsy tents in the middle of piles of garbage, sewer, and mudd plagued by diseases. Palestinian civilians are targeted and killed by Israelis and US bombs, missiles, drones, sharpshooters and sniper bullets, quadcopters, chemical weapons, and unknown weaponry being newly tested in this Gaza genocide. At the same time, hundreds of thousands are being maimed and injured, resulting in tens of thousands of amputees, including babies, women, and elders.

Self-determination for the Palestinian people from the US and Europe-backed Israeli colonialist and imperialist Apartheid regime requires our sustained effort. We have concluded that only a global intervention can have real impacts and bring about lasting change.

Palestinians are eating “grass” and drinking polluted water due to the manufactured Israeli-US famine.

Backed by the US, and supported by the UK, France, and Germany, Israel has been killing Palestinians en masse for 14 months, and it continues to kill peope in Gaza by the hundreds daily. Together, government officials from those countries conspired with Israel to manufacture hunger and weaponize starvation against the most vulnerable in Gaza, by engineering a complete blockade of Gaza by land, sea, and air. Palestinian children, the sick, and the elderly have been dying of starvation and dehydration because the genocide coalition has not allowed any food, water, fuel, or medical supplies to enter the Strip. Instead, the United States began dropping food aid by air over Gaza. That lasted for about two weeks. Not only was that shameful and cynical humanitarian about-face ineffective, but the parachuted aid packages also fell on top of buildings, in the middle of the ocean, and over people’s heads, killing dozens.

There is never any justification for genocide, and genocide is not self-defense. Under international humanitarian law, the Palestinians have a right to self-determination. They also have a right to self-defense against the illegal Israeli military Apartheid regime.

THERE IS NO ISRAELI WAR AGAINST HAMAS.

ISRAEL HAS NO RIGHT TO SELF-DEFENSE AGAINST ITS OWN OCCUPIED PEOPLE IN GAZA UNDER INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN LAW.

GENOCIDE IN GAZA

IJC HEARINGSOUTH AFRICA VS. ISRAEL

on December 29, 2023, South Africa filed a case with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the case of South Africa v. Israel regarding Israel‘s conduct in the Gaza Strip during the Israel–Hamas war, that resulted in a humanitarian crisis and mass killings. South Africa alleged that Israel had committed and was committing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, contravening the Genocide Convention, including what South Africa described as Israel’s 75-year apartheid56-year occupation, and 16-year blockade of the Strip. This resulted in a two-day hearing before the 15 Justices of the ICJ, with US Chief Judge Joan Donohue presiding.

Via a case brought by South Africa against Israel, on January 26, 2024, the ICJ (Internal Court of Justice) found that Israel has engaged in committing “plausible acts of genocide” that warranted a ruling and order that included preliminary provisions to prevent genocide under Geneva Convention and the United Nations Charter.

COURT RULINGS AND ORDERS

In March 2024, the highest court in the world ordered Israel to immediately “halt its military offensive and any other action in the Rafah Governorate, which may inflict on the Palestinian group in Gaza conditions of life that could bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part, and to take effective measures to prevent the destruction and ensure the preservation of evidence within the scope of Articles 2 and 3 in conformity with its obligation under the Genocide Convention.” The following is one video among dozens showing Israel burning Palestinians alive. Since this video was published, Israel has escalated this practice, burning hundreds of Palestinian patients, children, babies, the infirm, and the elderly.

On 28 March 2024, following a second request by South Africa for additional measures, the ICJ ordered new emergency measures, ordering Israel to ensure basic food supplies without delay as Gazans face famine and starvation. On 24 May, by 13 votes to two, the court issued a second provisional order, requiring Israel to immediately halt its “offensive in Rafah.” Israel rejected this order. It has rejected or ignored hundreds of UNSC and US Assembly resolutions before that and all court orders and demands to stop its killing, displacement, abuse, abduction, torture, incitement, humiliation, dehumanization, and subjection of the Palestinians in 70 years. Instead, Israel accelerated its Rafah assault and atrocities, bombing tents and burning Palestinian men, women, and children alive.

In December 2022, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) adopted a resolution requesting the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the highest court in the world, issue an advisory opinion relating to the legality of the Israeli 56-year occupation of the Palestinian territories.

Public hearings opened on 19 February 2024 at the ICJ’s seat in The Hague, with 52 states and three international organizations presenting legal arguments. The following represents a sample of the most passionate and memorable legal arguments by UN member states and humanitarian organizations. A sample video documentation follows.

The United States of America Argued for Israel’s Perpetual Military Apartheid Occupation of Palestinians with its complete package of violence, cruelty, abuses, thefts, and atrocities.

Summary of the Advisory Opinion of 19 July 2024

The following is a partial reading of the essence of the Court’s ruling issued on July 19, 2024.

… Israel’s policies and practices in the OPT are in breach of the prohibition of racial segregation and apartheid. He also highlights the severity and systematic nature of these practices.
5. In respect of arguments by some participants concerning Israel’s security concerns, Judge Tladi explains that while he understands the Court’s decision not to delve deeply into the issue, he finds it important to address the issue more explicitly. Judge Tladi’s declaration opines that international law is not agnostic to security concerns, and that security interests are protected through rules of international law such as the duty to co-operate, and the law of the Charter on the prohibition on the use of force (including self-defence and the rules on the collective security framework). After reviewing the applicable legal framework concerning the Israeli occupation of the OPT, he concludes that security interests cannot override legal rules, and certainly not the most fundamental rules having the character of jus cogens.
6. Judge Tladi’s declaration also delves into the obligations of the United Nations arising from the Opinion. He explores some practical and concrete actions by which the political organs of the United Nations can implement their obligations, such as acting positively on Palestine’s request for membership in the United Nations and considering mechanisms to ensure Israel’s compliance with its reparation obligation identified in the Opinion.”

On November 21, 2024, ICC Pre-Trial Chamber I rejects the State of Israel’s challenges to jurisdiction and issues warrants of arrest for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and murder.
